Vacuum Cleaner

The vacuum cleaner was originally created by Melville Bissell in 1876 as he wanted to make his wife something which would pick up sawdust. It wasn't until 1901 that Hubert Cecil Booth created a powered cleaner which used a vacuum and he was the person who patented the product.

Over the following years many people created many different variations of the vacuum cleaner and even today we are still seeing the usual designed being tweaked and altered to achieve a better product.
