Company Overview

For over 100 years, Dirt Devil vacuum cleaners have been some of the most popular household appliances in America. Founded in Cleveland, Ohio in 1905, the company was originally known as Royal Manufacturing. It wasn't until the 1980s that they adopted the Dirt Devil brand name, which has risen to become synonymous with vacuum cleaners not just here in the United States, but also around the world.

Today, Dirt Devil vacuum cleaners are part of the TTI group, which is also responsible for other leading brands such as Hoover and Vax.

Dirt Devil Ultra Hand Vacuum - 1996 saw the launch of the Dirt Devil ultra hand vacuum, offering greater than ever levels of suction and a built-in stretch hose. So popular was this, that some retailers are still stocking this product to this day.

Dirt Devil Classic Hand Vacuum – The Dirt Devil hand vac was given a re-vamp in 2005, with the introduction of the classic hand vac, a remake of the traditional red hand vac, with the inclusion of a HEPA filter and a bagless dirt cup.

Introduced in 1996, the Dirt Devil Broom is America's best-selling rechargeable stick vacuum cleaner.
